NRC names new deputy regional construction chief in Atlanta office

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) said on Tuesday that Laura Dudes has been named the new deputy regional administrator of construction for the Region II office in Atlanta. In this position, she will oversee NRC inspection and licensed construction-site activity on a national scale. NRC names new resident inspector for Pennsylvania nuclear plant

The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) said on Tuesday that it has named Matthew Fannon as the new resident inspector for the nuclear power plant in Limerick, Pennsylvania.Fannon holds a bachelor's degree in nuclear engineering from the University of Tennessee. Prior to being selected as a resident inspector, Fannon served as a reactor engineer in the Region I Division of Reactor Projects and previously served in the U.S. Navy's nuclear propulsion program.
