The U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) and the National Energy Administration of China (NEA) recently convened their 10th Peaceful Uses of Nuclear Technology (PUNT) Joint Coordinating Committee (JCC) meeting, held in Chengdu, China. GE Hitachi praises client DTE Energy for securing NRC license

NRC issues violation notice to Illinois Honeywell plant over leak

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) issued a violation notice on Tuesday to Honeywell's Metropolis Works plant in Metropolis, Illinois. The agency said the plant failed to report a uranium hexafluoride leak that occurred in October to the NRC.
