Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries issued the following announcement on April 23.

1201 Egerter Road South, Port Robinson, ON L0S 1K0, April 23, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Port Robinson, Ontario – The Organization of Canadian Nuclear Industries (OCNI) is proud to congratulate E.S. Fox Limited for supporting the nuclear industry for over 30 years.

A multi-trade company, E.S. Fox supports the nuclear industry across the province. They bring an integrative approach which is central to their long-standing relationship with the nuclear program in Ontario. With over 700 workers, E.S. Fox’s wide-ranging integration enables their staff to interact more readily with nuclear facilities.

Established in 1934, E.S. Fox is headquartered in Niagara Falls, Ontario and maintains full-service regional offices across the province, including in Port Robinson where the company is fabricating thermal insulation cabinets for Ontario Power Generation’s Darlington Refurbishment project. These cabinets will protect the refurbished reactor vault’s concrete walls and feeder header frames from excess temperatures and will reduce the load on the reactor vault cooling system.

Currently, E.S. Fox is supplying the cabinets in two orders: 654 carbon steel support frames and 3,792 stainless steel panels.

Aside from the Darlington Refurbishment project, E.S. Fox is also supporting Ontario Power Generation’s Pickering station on several critical initiatives helping to ensure the power plant continues operating safely and reliably until 2024.

The refurbishment of Darlington Nuclear Generating Station is Canada’s largest clean energy project and supports 14,000 jobs across Ontario. Over 200 of the project’s suppliers are located in Ontario, including E.S. Fox. The 10-year, $12.8 billion refurbishment is progressing on time and on budget and will ensure a safe, clean and reliable energy supply for the next 30 years.
