AMETEK Solidstate Controls, one of the top providers of highly customized uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) in the world, said this week that it has named Daryl Malone its new regional sales manager.
Malone has spent his entire 20-year industrial-electronics career with AMETEK, working in several positions, most recently in applications engineering before this promotion.
Malone will supervise and manage the company's Western U.S. regional operations, which includes representative recruiting, new-equipment sales and client-account development.
AMETEK Solidstate Controls provides UPS systems and highly customized inverters to clients for critical processes in challenging environments, such as petrochemical processing (nuclear power utilities and fossil fuels) and power generation.
The company's manufacturing and administrative operations are based at its worldwide headquarters in Columbus, Ohio. The company is a subsidiary of AMETEK Inc., a top worldwide producer of electromechanical devices, as well as electronic instruments.
