Russian state nuclear power company Rosatom said recently that its subsidiary, Rusatom Service and Power Machines has agreed to supply China's Tianwan Nuclear Power Plant with more turbine blades.
Under the contract, four sets of fifth-stage turbine blades will be supplied to Unit 2, with the contract calling for the work to be completed by 2020.
This is the latest of several contracts the company has with the plant. Two of these contracts for parts to be used in Units 1 and 2 are set to be fulfilled later this year, including the manufacture of spare parts for Unit 1 and Unit 2 turbine generators and three sets of fourth- and fifth-stage turbine blades for Unit 1.
The orders are scheduled for completion in August and September.
