Centrus Energy Corp. said this week that five people with experience serving at high federal governmental and industrial levels have joined its advisory board.
New members include former U.S. National Security Adviser and O’Melveny & Myers partner and Vice Chairman Tom Donilon, President and CEO of the Center for Strategic and International Studies and Former Deputy Secretary of Defense John Hamre, Former Special Assistant to President George W. Bush and current Scowcroft Group Principal Franklin Miller; Eisenhower Group CEO and Chairwoman Susan Eisenhower, and Michael Wallace, former vice chairman and chief operating officer of Constellation Energy.
“Our advisory board members have unparalleled experience and will provide invaluable insight as we work to assure America’s long-term uranium enrichment capability,” Daniel Poneman, Centrus' president and CEO, said. “They have a unique understanding of this marketplace, as well as the important stakes for our national security and energy security.”
The advisory board of the company serves to provide insight to upper management and executives on how the company can improve its capabilities as a supplier of enriched uranium for nuclear-generation applications domestically and globally.
