Flores is currently serving as the chief nuclear officer and senior vice president of Luminant and has been in this role since 2009.

With Luminant, Flores oversees all operations associated with the Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant in Texas and he represents the company in correspondence with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). Flores earned his bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering from Texas A&M University, where he serves on the Nuclear Engineering Advisory Council.
