Energy Systems (ES) announced on Friday that they have selected Will Barnes to serve as their Seattle area sales representative.
Barnes has served in the U.S. Navy's Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program and has worked within the nuclear generation field as a field technician and eventually a service manager in Renton, Washington. He has also worked for a commercial sales group that specialized in power generation and sold generators for a number of different applications.
During his time with the Navy, Barnes eventually became an instructor that trained officers and enlisted men in the theory, maintenance and operation of the S8G nuclear Power plant. He received a master training specialist designation among other awards. He has also served on the ballistic missile submarine, the USS Alabama on the SSMN 731 gold crew.
"Will is a great addition to our ES Team of Power Gen experts, bringing his expansive knowledge and experience to provide first class support to our customers," ES Northwest manager Zach Dean said.
Energy Systems has served as one of the longest running distributors for Generac Industrial Power. Based in California, the company services western states including Hawaii, Nevada, Oregon, Washington and Alaska. In 2014, the company was recognized with an Eagle Award from Generac, which signifies that they had the best distribution performance in North America.
