I look forward to continuing to raise awareness, in part through events like this, of the need to ensure that nuclear energy is properly valued as a reliable, affordable and carbon-free electricity resource that is essential to America's energy future and diverse fuel mix."
Topics that will be discussed in the session include new technological advances, industry challenges in the region, pending legislation and its impact and how nuclear energy compliments clean energy initiatives in the area.

Other speakers will be present that will represent policy and industry experts from companies and institutions, including Entergy Wholesale Commodities, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Nuclear Fuel Cycle Project and Terrestrial Energy Inc.
