Executives from NextNine and Schneider Electric will present information on advanced cyber security for nuclear facilities at a conference in Vienna, Austria, hosted by the International Atomic Energy Agency on June 1 through 5.
The presenters include Michael Coden, vice president of NextNine. He will make a joint presentation with Schneider Electric about maintaining and managing industrial control systems located at multiple nuclear facility sites. In addition, he will present "Applying Safety Analysis to Cyber Incidents" and "ISA/IEC TR62443-2-3 Patch Management Technical Report."
"Nuclear facilities are at the top of the risk curve, as any cybersecurity breach can have dire consequences," Shmulik Aran, CEO of NextNine, said. "Whether through an insider threat, spear phishing or brute force attack, these crucial plants are prime targets, and need to be continuously and thoroughly protected while still managed and operated efficiently. At NextNine, we take a leadership role in enabling critical infrastructure owners worldwide to harden their enterprises and gain visibility into their overall compliance with regulatory standards at every point in time."
