The Nuclear Regulatory Commission is seeking two candidates for appointment to its Advisory Committee on Reactor Safeguards (ACRS).
ACRS is an advisory group that provides independent technical review of -- and advice on -- matters related to the safety of existing and proposed
nuclear facilities and the adequacy of proposed reactor safety standards. The committee also advises the commission on issues in health physics and radiation protection.
Those interested should have at least 20 years of experience along with a record of achievement in one or more areas of nuclear science and technology or related engineering fields.
