Toronto-based Mega Uranium Ltd. said last week that Sheldon Inwentash has retired both as the chairman and as a member of the company´s board of directors.
The mineral resources company also said that Michael Sweatman has decided not to seek re-election as a director at the company’s forthcoming annual and special meeting of shareholders.
The company thanked Inwentash and Sweatman for their long service and contributions to the company.
Mega Uranium said it will not be replacing the two men with nominees at the shareholders’ meeting. It said the number of directors to be elected at the meeting will be set at four, with the remaining incumbent nominees disclosed in the company´s management information circular, in respect of the meeting standing for election.
