AREVA, Inc. recently hosted its third annual AREVA Innovation Awards, honoring more than 50 employees for technical creativity and customer-focused improvements.
The multinational nuclear power company handed out awards across several categories, including safety, new technology, improved business model and customer cost savings.
“AREVA employees’ innovative solutions drive operational excellence and are key to the value we bring each customer project,” AREVA's Chief Operating Officer Craig Ranson said. “Customer projects using AREVA technology have earned top recognition for five years in a row at the nuclear industry’s annual Top Industry Practice (TIP) Awards.”
AREVA is an international nuclear power company that offers a wide scope of testing services for successful nuclear licensing and validation. The company also is a contributor of innovative nuclear fuel design.
The company actively supports the development of innovative team projects and encourages the development of cost-effective solutions to enhance nuclear energy operations for its wide customer base. AREVA also invests in renewable energies to develop clean high technology solutions to its partners.
AREVA's nearly 5,000 U.S. and Canadian employees provide North America with a significant amount of energy with less carbon dioxide output.
