Midwest Energy Emissions Corp. (ME2C) in Ohio recently added Chris Lee to its board of directors.
Lee will serve as an independent director. He has been the chief financial officer of the Butler Machinery Company, a construction equipment and agriculture equipment dealer, since July 2014.
"Chris Lee's high-level knowledge and understanding of financial accounting is unparalleled, and is adjoined by his integrity,” Chris Greenberg, chairman of the board of directors, said. “Chris is an important addition to ME2C's board of directors as we continue to add expertise across key financial verticals. His independence will facilitate the company's goal to eventually list on a major stock exchange. I am excited to welcome Chris to our great team."
Previously, Lee worked as a partner with Eide Bailly LP, a public accounting firm.
Lee earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from North Dakota State University.
