Rosatom has confirmed the business program for the VIII International Forum, Atomexpo 2016, set for May 30 to June 1.

Rosatom will host Gostiny Dvor in Moscow from May 30 to June 1. Heads and representatives of both Russian and foreign governments, companies and public organizations will join international leaders and prominent experts within the energy and the nuclear industry.

The program will provide participants with an opportunity to discuss the challenges the global energy market faces and set guidelines for further development of nuclear industry. Discussion topics will include developing world energy and the basic role of nuclear power supply as a reliable, financially predictable and clean energy source. 

Participants also will discuss cooperation prospects with representatives from countries seeking to develop nuclear energy, including Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Following the signing of the implementation agreement for the $300 million Independent Power Project in January 2020, and under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy in Saudi Arabia, ACWA Power today executed the official agreements for the 240 MW wind power project that will be located in the Absheron and Khizi regions.

Capital Dynamics, an independent global private asset management firm, completed the sale of a majority interest in its Beacon portfolio to TortoiseEcofin and S&B USA Energy. Each buyer has acquired a 49.5% ownership of the portfolio. Capital Dynamics retains a minority stake of 1%.
