PSEG names new president of company’s nuclear unit

Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG), a publicly traded and diversified energy company, recently named Peter Sena, a 20-year nuclear industry veteran, as president of the company’s nuclear unit.

Sena’s direct supervisor will be William Levis, president of PSEG Power, and Sena will oversee the work of Robert Braun, PSEG’s chief nuclear officer.. Sena will start work in this position in late March.

“We are very pleased to have Pete join PSEG as president of the nuclear business,” Levis said. “His proven track record of creating sustainable excellence at multiple nuclear facilities over the years — which was recognized by INPO Excellence awards multiple times — will be a tremendous asset to our business. His broad experience in the industry, both as a representative on key task forces and as a leader at FirstEnergy and NextEra, makes him an ideal candidate for the role.”

Sena spent 15 years at FirstEnergy Corp., working his way up to chief nuclear officer. His most recent position was senior vice president of operations/chief operating officer at NextEra.
