Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) and PH Power Systems (PWPS) have joined forces within Mitsubishi Power Systems Americans (MHPS), an integration that MHPS calls a  “turbomachinery powerhouse.”

MHPS recently announced its integration with PWPS in a partnership designed to help create innovations in the gas turbine global market.

MHPS America’s CEO Paul Browning said the collaboration among the two companies will allow for leveraging global sales and service.

“Integrating PWPS into MHPS Americas broadens our product portfolio and allows us to realize synergies between our various manufacturing and service centers in the United States, while also leveraging the global sales and service capabilities of MHPS and PWPS,” Browning said in a news release.  “We’re also excited to leverage PWPS’s gas turbine power plant turnkey capabilities and their industrial gas turbine parts and repair capabilities.”

PWPS President and CEO Raul Pereda said in a statement that the partnership will equally benefit PWPS.

“Our team at PWPS will benefit from full integration with another global turbomachinery OEM with industry-leading Dry Low NOx combustion technology, a significant American manufacturing footprint, and global sales and service networks,” Pereda said. “PWPS customers around the world can expect a seamless transition, and can look forward to enhancements to the industry-leading products and services they’ve experienced from us in the past.”
