Nuclear-fuel technology company Lightbridge Corp. said this week that it will make a presentation at the CleanEquity Monaco 2016 conference, that is set to take place March 3-4 at the
Oceanographic Museum in Monaco.

The company has been focused on developing its thorium-based nuclear fuel assembly, which Lightbridge said will allow increased fuel efficiency and could result in fewer refueling outages for power plants. A previous Power News Wire story said the assembly was approved for testing at the Halden Research Reactor in Norway. Lightbridge is based in Reston, Virginia, and also provides advisory services to nuclear programs.

CleanEquity Monaco is hosted by Innovator Capital, and only invited organizations can  attend. The conference is focused on bringing together innovators in the clean-technology industry for networking and the sharing of new ideas. The conference will include company representatives, policy makers, investors and government officials for presentations, as well as breakout/workshop sessions.

Other partners and sponsors of the conference include Covington & Burling, Cranfield University, Gillamor Stephens, the Monaco Economic Board and the International University of Monaco.
