Jojo appointed to Exelon’s board of directors

Linda Jojo, current executive vice president and chief information officer (CIO) with United Airlines, has been appointed to serve on Exelon Corp.’s board of directors, the company announced Friday.

As a board member, Jojo will specialize in information technology (IT) operations and in technology strategy.

With United, Jojo oversaw the deployment of a mobile technology platform and a platform for data analytics so it could better improve client experiences. She also played an important role for the airline in making enhancements to security and improving the reliability of its technology systems.
   
“Linda brings a depth of leadership experience to the Exelon board of directors, and we look forward to working with her,” Exelon Chairman Mayo Shattuck said. “Technology and innovation are essential components of our business and her extensive background in this area will be a tremendous asset.”
  
Jojo has been recognized for her work in the IT industry and has earned CIO 100 awards on three occasions for transformation and innovation. Prior to working with United, she served as a CIO for Rogers Communications in Toronto and as CIO of Energy Future Holdings Corp.

Jojo earned her bachelor’s degree in computer science and her master’s degree in industrial engineering and management systems from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
