Entergy Corp. said on Tuesday that Patrick Condon and Karen Puckett have been elected to the company’s board of directors.

Condon, who currently serves on the board of directors at Cloud Peak Energy and is chairman of the audit committee and a member of the nominating and corporate governance committee, spent more than 30 years at Arthur Andersen LLP and nine years at Deloitte & Touche LLP before retiring in 2011.

Condon is also an independent director and chairman of the audit committee for Roundy’s, Inc., a leading grocery company serving the Midwestern U.S., with headquarters in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Puckett helped turn CenturyLink into the third-largest telecommunications company in the U.S. She currently serves as the company’s president-global markets and is facilitating the company’s ability to thrive in the new arenas of cloud, data hosting and managed services while maintaining its focus on operational excellence and financial strength.

In addition, Puckett currently sits on the board of directors and serves on the compensation committee at marketing services company Harte-Hanks, Inc.

“We are pleased to be able to add Pat, Karen and their respective expertise to our board of directors,” Leo Denault, Entergy’s chairman and chief executive officer, said. “Pat’s accounting background and Karen’s experience adapting to a rapidly changing business landscape are two of many attributes that promise to benefit our owners, customers, employees and communities. I and other board members look forward to working with them both.”
