The Emirates Nuclear Energy Corp.(ENEC) was recognized late last week during the Abu Dhabi Government Awards for Excellence in Government Performance 2015.

ENEC won three awards, including the Most Distinguished Government Entity Award. ENEC was selected out of 306 entries.

“Winning this award is the result of ENEC’s vision, which is based on the highest standards of excellence and quality embedded across all divisions in our corporation,” ENEC CEO Mohammed Al Hammadi said. “This adherence to high standards is what enables us to achieve our strategic goals. ENEC has successfully implemented the highest international standards for operational efficiency and excellence in quality and performance by adopting nine international standards.”

Two ENEC employees, Asma Al Shanqeeti and Majed Al Marzooqi, received recognition during the awards. The former was awarded the New Employee Award and Al Marzooqi was among the top three nominees in the management category.

These awards serve as an evaluation for governmental agencies and affiliates in Abu Dhabi, allowing corporate leadership to reward quality performance in the public sector.

Al Hammadi expressed gratitude to Abu Dhabi leadership and ENEC staff during the acceptance of the Most Distinguished Government Entity Award.
