Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) recently announced that its subsidiary, Stoller Newport News Nuclear (SN3), has chosen Curt Hull to be the company’s chief operating officer and senior vice president.

Hull has managed hazardous waste projects for both government and private clients for over 35 years. He worked with the SM Stoller Corp., recently changed to SN3, for 20 years beginning as a geologist before becoming a project manager and then co-owner.

His new position will require him to work directly with others in leadership roles at HII and SN3.

"Curt will be responsible for further integration of SN3 operations with HII and its divisions and subsidiaries, and he will continue to provide leadership of SN3 operations nationwide," Nick Lombardo, SN3 president, said.

Colorado-based SN3 is an environmental services and nuclear operations company. It combines expertise from two of HII’s subsidiaries, SM Stoller Corp and Newport News Nuclear. The company is a one-stop resource for environmental services capabilities and nuclear operations for both the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense.

HII is the largest military shipbuilding company in the U.S. For more than a century it has provided a variety of services, including engineering, manufacturing and management services for both non-commercial and commercial energy, gas and oil markets.
