WEEC keynote speakers announced

The World Energy Engineering Congress (WEEC) recently announced the key speakers that will be presenting information on multiple areas of the energy industry and technology.

The conference will take place from Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Among the featured speakers are Nuclear Matters Co-Chair, former Sen. Judd Gregg; the vice president of Animals, Science and Environment for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Jackie Ogden; former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice; and Duke Energy's Florida State President Alex Glenn.

Gregg will be focusing on the existing nuclear fleet in the United States and will be discussing how they will impact carbon-free engines for the economy during the Association of Energy Engineers' Florida Sunshine Chapter Luncheon on Oct. 1 at noon.

Rice will be speaking as the event's featured opening session speaker and will be discussing energy, national security and economic policies and the challenges and opportunities that exist within the geopolitical landscape.

During the conference, attendees will be able to explore new technologies and seminars within the 70,000-square-foot exhibition space.

This conference brings energy experts from around the globe and the conference will be featuring a wide selection of technologies and services relating to multiple areas, including energy efficiency and management, climate change and its impact, smart grid technology, solar and fuel cell technology, renewable and alternative energy among many other areas.
